This blog is like my lawn from a few summers ago- really nice to look at sometimes but then you let it go too long and it’s overwhelming to deal with and you have to hire a guy who lives up the street who has a brush hog to come through and chop everything to smithereens. But the bumblebees like the overgrowth!
Okay, bad analogy?
Anyway, sorry for the lack of posts here. I started working a new job last June and it’s a swing shift that takes place at a weird time and I feel like a participant in a weird alternate-reality version of my life where I play a supporting role to myself where I’m also the main character. I apparently was never meant to deviate too far from my diurnal routine and it has been hard to find motivation to work on stuff like this blog.
I’m doing mostly alright, though. I’ve played some games, read some books. I’ve started a handful of blog posts and lost interest. I’ve noticed this blog and my site generally probably could use a refresher and some stuff either doesn’t work or just looks ugly (why did I think it was a good idea to have the width of posts be so wide? What a goofball old me was!). I’d like to address all of this and think someday I probably will but for now just know that I am alive and hope you are too.
P.S Druug, if you’re reading this I know I owe you an email. I promise I will do that. I really wanted to have that done within a year of receiving your email but alas. I also could have just texted or emailed the previous sentences to you. Why didn’t I do that?! I don’t know.
